The biggest factory is not necessarily the best factory. The best factory is one that is 𝕛𝕦𝕀π•₯ π•£π•šπ•˜π•™π•₯ for π•ͺ𝕠𝕦𝕣 spend!

Here are three reasons why.

#𝟏 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐑
If the factory is huge, they may not value your spend.
↳ E.g. you will have more bargaining power if you’re 5% of a factories’ sales vs. 0.000000001%!

#𝟐 𝐌𝐎𝐐
Big factories with high volume are often very focussed on production efficiency. As a result, they may have minimum order quantities that are too high for you. A smaller factory may be more flexible.

#πŸ‘ 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭
Sometime smaller factories offer better pricing than big factories. This could be because their overhead is lower or could be because they value your business more than the big factory. Don’t assume that the big factory will have the lowest price.

➑️ So when you’re visiting a factory it’s ok to be impressed with size, but at the same time, make sure you are evaluating suitability and select the one that is 𝕛𝕦𝕀π•₯ π•£π•šπ•˜π•™π•₯ for you.
