COVID travel bans fixed that.
I was forced to delegate to people on the ground and work together as a Team. Amazingly we got better results.
Why?
Because humans ALWAYS achieve MORE as a high performing team than a collection of high performing individuals.
Don’t fall in the trap of concentrating all your China IP into a lone wolf. Rather, build a high performing sourcing and supply management team and work together towards achieving long term, supply-led competitive advantage.
