Effective quality management at origin is an important component of breakthrough supply advantage in Asia.
  1. Factories will do what you inspect not what you expect. Failure to inspect will eventually result in goods not fit for purpose reaching customers, damaging your brand and reputation.
  2. The earlier quality issues can be identified, the lower the cost of rectification. Defects identified at the factory before shipment release, are rectified by the factory. 
  3. Importers to destination countries, are responsible to ensure products comply with destination country product safety regulations. Allowing non compliant products to ship could result in significant cost of recall / rework and loss of reputation
  4. Quality assurance checking in the new product development process can ensure new products are developed in compliance with regulations and fit for purpose.
